Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Process Engineer to enhance our engineering capabilities and drive continuous improvement in our processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize expertise in a quick-turn, engineer-to-order environment to optimize production workflows.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and Kaizen methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct process development initiatives aimed at improving yield and performance metrics.
  • Collect and analyze data, collaborating with technical and operational teams to inform decision-making.
  • Oversee environmental monitoring and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Apply fundamental engineering principles to design processes and equipment, from conceptualization to detailed execution.
  • Facilitate the transition of small-scale processes into large-scale manufacturing operations.
  • Supervise Engineering Technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations to address customer needs and support business growth.
  • Engage with site managers to implement engineering solutions and resolve technical challenges.

Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to assess and enhance engineering processes and equipment.
  • Experience in data analysis and trend identification to guide research and development efforts.
  • Skilled in designing, installing, and commissioning production units, along with troubleshooting existing systems.
  • Proficient in preparing technical documentation, including reports and flow diagrams.
  • Knowledgeable about raw material availability and the environmental impact of manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to ensure optimal plant performance and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or Physics.
  • Advanced degrees or equivalent postgraduate education in relevant fields are preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in high-technology manufacturing, particularly in semiconductor capital equipment or related sectors.
Work Environment:

This position typically operates in a professional office setting, with occasional presence in manufacturing areas. Employees may encounter moderate to loud noise levels and other environmental factors.

Physical Requirements:

Regular communication, standing, walking, and manual dexterity are essential. The role may require lifting up to 25 pounds and involves specific vision capabilities.

Travel:

Occasional travel may be necessary for training and meetings.
