Position Overview:
As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for the development, oversight, and management of various timelines for medium to large-scale construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Formulates and oversees conceptual (RFP), bidding (preconstruction), and final project timelines utilizing preliminary and ongoing project data for the estimating, preconstruction, and operations teams.


2. Participates in site meetings, collaborates with stakeholders, and conducts site visits to establish the project timeline.


3. Creates standard and tailored graphs and charts to assist site personnel in managing the project effectively.


4. Develops and maintains a repository of activity groups with as-built data for future reference.


5. Prepares Time Impact Analysis to address identified risks to the schedule and budget.


6. Completes additional tasks as directed by management.


7. Provides support and guidance to ensure the baseline schedule submission is timely, comprehensive, accurate, and adheres to company standards and contractual obligations.


8. Assists projects as necessary with schedule upkeep and change order management.


9. Engages in financial and legal project assessments as needed to evaluate and mitigate any scheduling risks in line with company protocols.


10. Integrates owner activities, project close-out tasks, and inputs from Technical Services and Safety Departments into all project timelines.


11. Develops documentation for claims, aiding operations personnel in identifying potential claims and taking proactive measures to prevent or defend against them.


12. Participates in discussions regarding project delays and proposes alternative scheduling methods to recover project progress as necessary.


13. Prepares monthly schedule status reports for project management and the Scheduling Manager.


14. Maintains awareness of company values and strategic objectives.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a scheduler in heavy civil construction.

• Strong ability to communicate and interface effectively with team members and stakeholders.

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.

• Demonstrated capability to identify and resolve scheduling challenges for both simple and complex construction projects.

• Skilled in generating and maintaining cost and resource-loaded schedules.

• Ability to prioritize and initiate projects and tasks independently.

• Capacity to manage multiple similar activities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
