Acentra Health is currently seeking a Client Support Specialist to become a vital part of our expanding team.
Role Summary:
The primary objective of this role is to manage incoming calls, addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and requests while adhering to established policies and procedures. This position requires a solid understanding of the organization's services to meet both productivity and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of internal policies, procedures, and services.
- Utilize automated systems for logging and retrieving information; ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Handle inquiries via telephone, email, or mail, providing responses within designated turnaround times.
- Respond to calls in a timely, accurate, and professional manner, following standard operating procedures.
- Engage with external partners such as healthcare providers and beneficiaries.
- Verify healthcare services to facilitate payment processes.
- Identify medical claims that meet audit criteria and submit necessary documentation to auditors.
- Investigate and resolve provider issues, escalating complex situations as needed.
- Initiate cases by collecting and entering relevant demographic and service information.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly reports as required for clinical operations and client reporting.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years of experience in customer service.
- Proficient PC skills, including email and standard applications.
- Familiarity with medical terminology or the health insurance sector.
Preferred:
- Strong verbal and listening skills to provide professional customer service.
