About the Role

AECOM is seeking a seasoned business development professional to drive growth for our Utah Transportation business. This external facing leader will represent AECOM in the marketplace and oversee business development, sales, projects, and strategy for AECOM's Surface Transportation business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and revenue for AECOM's Utah Transportation business.
  • Lead the recruitment and retention of top talent in Utah, fostering a culture of innovation, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and own the long-term vision for sustained growth of AECOM's transportation business in Utah.
  • Work with the US Greater West Transportation growth team to develop an annual strategic plan, setting targets and goals for the fiscal year, and owning the Wins and Bookings KPIs.
  • Oversee the capture process for key pursuits in Utah, ensuring best practices are being adhered to, and continuously improving capture results.
  • Lead the client account management program for key clients in Utah, ensuring active management by Client Account Managers and Project Managers.
  • Support project delivery and execution, including the management of strategic projects and support for other key projects throughout the region.
  • Collaborate with local divisional leadership across all markets and organize civic engagement activities.
  • Work with local division leadership to grow pipeline and manage Utah conference and meeting sponsorships.
  • Be responsible for holding regular Utah business development meetings with all relevant stakeholders and ensuring frequent and regular communication.
Requirements
  • Ability to manage large projects and serve as the Principal in Charge for high-value projects and clients.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and revenue in a similar role.
  • Excellent business acumen and understanding of the transportation industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
