About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Scheduling Manager to lead our system-wide scheduling process, overseeing planning, coordination, and assessment within budgeting parameters. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders college-wide, ensuring accurate and timely course and room scheduling, optimizing space, enrollment, and faculty portfolios across the institution.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage the collaborative process of schedule planning using data metrics for strategic scheduling
  • Identify processes for change management in future and current terms
  • Monitor and pivot section offerings based on enrollment trends, working closely with Student Services and academic leadership
  • Optimize physical space usage for course offerings by developing a process to manage the assignment of classrooms collaboratively across multiple departments
  • Establish quality control metrics to ensure programing aligns with compliance guidelines
  • Lead project planning, development, implementation, and control to ensure efficiency in meeting the needs of the College
  • Develop processes to evaluate course needs based on student academic plans and identify gaps in course offerings in the schedule
  • Forecast scheduling and usage trends, recommending and implementing efficient methodologies, and changes in the academic schedule in collaboration with other administrators
  • Develop reports and monitor data to assess the effectiveness of the schedule
  • Identify potential risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Two or more years of demonstrated expertise in PowerBI dashboard, Microsoft Office tools, SharePoint, and data management and literacy skills
  • Two or more years of experience in Colleague, Workday, or Ad Astra Scheduling software and work-related experience in higher education
  • Bilingual preferred
