As a Driver Check-In Associate, your primary role will be to manage the check-in process for Delivery Drivers, ensuring the precision of the check-in and returns procedures. You will engage and communicate with customers, vendors, and colleagues in a professional manner, ensuring that inquiries are addressed accurately and promptly. You will collaborate as a team member within the department and the organization, performing any assigned tasks to best support the company.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Checking in delivery drivers and inspecting all incoming trailersAssisting with the unloading of trucks and cleaning out trucks, including the removal of totes, pallets, and product returns.Receiving and verifying returns paperwork and receipts, forwarding them to the designated personnel.Reconciling damaged goods and returned items, re-entering items into the appropriate categories within the inventory management system as necessary.Communicating with inventory staff regarding quality-related issues and addressing delivery challenges with drivers and department managers.Verifying returned goods and assessing damaged productsMaking informed decisions regarding the handling of returned goodsMaintaining accurate records of returns and Driver Check-In performance metricsPerforming other related duties as assigned.
