Shift Hours: Evening Shift (10:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
Role Objective:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for facilitating the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse environment. This includes managing incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate verification, stocking, and retrieval of inventory to fulfill customer and store orders.
- Transport products from receiving areas to designated storage or shipping locations.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, scanners, and ladders.
- Operate warehouse machinery safely and in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by managing waste and performing regular cleaning tasks.
- Complete all required training and certifications as directed.
- Adhere to hazardous material regulations and safety procedures.
- Follow all applicable laws and company policies to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to a safe and positive workplace culture by actively participating in safety initiatives.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate across departments.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Forklift certification is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Exhibit a positive and professional work ethic.
- Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical capability to lift and move items weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to push/pull heavy loads using mechanical aids.
- Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in proximity to moving machinery.
- Adaptability to moderate noise levels in the work environment.
