Position Summary: The selected candidate will be responsible for the safe and precise handling of materials, including receiving, storing, and processing shipments, as well as ensuring timely delivery of orders to our clients.

Work Environment: This position requires onsite work at the branch location. Please note that relocation assistance is not available.

Compensation: The starting pay for this role ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming shipments.
  • Organize and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Prepare and package customer orders and inter-branch transfers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate shipping and delivery of materials.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Adhere to OSHA and DOT regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Locate and retrieve materials from the warehouse and yard for delivery.
  • Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading shipments.
  • Experience with box vans or flatbed trucks is advantageous.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, shipping, receiving, and inventory management is preferred.
  • Forklift certification and operational experience.
  • Basic math and computer proficiency.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with RF scanning technology.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and packages.
  • Understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Basic knowledge of commercial and industrial pipe, valves, and fittings.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Background check clearance.
  • Valid and clean driving record.
