Job Title: Director of Performance Improvement and Project Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Performance Improvement and Project Management to join our team at Behavioral Health Network. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our project management and performance improvement initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results that meet business requirements and balance end-user and agency economics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project management execution, project scope monitoring, business analysis functions, and problem-solving for the team.
  • Ensure the project management team utilizes a flexible project management approach, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Provide technical guidance on the use of no-code and low-code applications.
  • Lead teams to drive complex project management initiatives.
  • Hire and retain highly capable staff while fostering diversity and career development.
  • Set performance expectations and hold staff accountable for achieving KPIs.
  • Serve as the team's chief problem solver, imparting problem-solving strategies and skills within the team.
  • Develop key operational tools to facilitate specific processes.
  • Review all projects across accounts to determine resource and skill requirements, drive resource allocation management, and ensure the right resources are cast to the need.
  • Accountable for account-level master project plan creation and management.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to adjust processes for efficiencies.
  • Structure and lead project status reviews, lead cross-team post-mortem sessions.
  • Lead teams to develop and manage risk mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate ongoing training for staff to increase their competencies in project management and business analysis functions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years project management experience required with progressive levels of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated progression in level of responsibility within a professional project management environment.
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional planning, coordination, management, and verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Experience with risk management, change management, communications management.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite skills, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Expertise in use of project management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow mid-level producer talent, ability to effectively manage performance issues.
