ROLE SUMMARY:
The Regional Account Manager for Personal Lines plays a crucial role in supporting clients throughout the Central and Northern California region, overseeing an insurance portfolio with revenues exceeding $225,000. This position requires a high degree of autonomy and discretion, as the Account Manager fosters positive and productive relationships with sales and account team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with Producers, when assigned, to serve as the primary contact for clients at HUB
- Deliver professional and courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, and colleagues to ensure high account retention rates
- Manage account rounding and identify new business opportunities in accordance with established practices
- Oversee all account transactions, documentation, and internal processes
- Understand clients' business and insurance goals to assess insurance plans effectively
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, resolving complex service issues
- Address claims and billing inquiries
- Focus on client retention and generating new business from existing accounts
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to departmental objectives
- Maintain precise account documentation and records
- Prepare annual review reports and conduct client meetings for insurance program assessments
- Provide management with necessary reports
- Support and mentor less experienced team members
- Stay informed on industry developments and client needs to make appropriate recommendations
- Participate in industry-related training to enhance knowledge
- Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED required (college degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant personal lines experience in a brokerage environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Well-organized with exceptional communication abilities
