Director of Communication & Public Affairs

Jobot is seeking an experienced Director of Communication & Public Affairs to enhance our presence in the building materials sector. This pivotal role is designed for a professional who can effectively shape our communication strategy, manage public relations, and lead outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement a robust communication and public affairs strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee both internal and external communications to ensure clarity and engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives to bolster the company's image.
  • Manage crisis communication efforts, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and adapt communication strategies as necessary.

  • Address stakeholder concerns and resolve issues proactively.
  • Provide strategic advice to the leadership team on communication and public affairs issues.
Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public affairs and communications.
  • Proficient in managing media relations and crafting press materials.
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and its trends.
  • A proven history of executing successful communication initiatives.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Strong leadership skills and adept problem-solving abilities.
