Position Details:

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Director of Corporate Communications to enhance our growing organization in the building materials sector.

This role is essential for a professional eager to influence and direct our brand messaging, oversee public relations, and spearhead our communication initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in the manufacturing and industrial sectors, demonstrating a successful history in formulating and executing impactful communication strategies, managing media interactions, and addressing crisis situations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute a holistic communications and public relations strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives.
  • Oversee all internal and external communications, ensuring consistency and engagement in messaging.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, actively seeking opportunities to enhance the organization's reputation.
  • Prepare and disseminate press releases, speeches, and other communication materials.
  • Lead crisis communication efforts, providing timely and accurate information to the media and stakeholders.
  • Analyze industry trends and public sentiment to identify opportunities and challenges, adjusting communication strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement effective campaigns that promote our brand and services.
  • Address issues resolution, working closely with various stakeholders to manage concerns or complaints.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the leadership team on all communication and public relations matters.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations and public affairs, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing media relations and crafting press releases.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and its dynamics.
  • Excellent crisis management capabilities, with the ability to navigate high-pressure scenarios.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing brand strategies.
  • Proven success in managing impactful communication campaigns.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a talent for inspiring and motivating teams.
  • Strategic and creative thinker with robust problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in issues resolution and crisis management.
