Position Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Permanent Head of Corporate Communications & Public Affairs to become an integral part of our expanding team in the building materials sector.

This role is onsite and presents a remarkable opportunity for an experienced professional to influence and steer our brand narrative, oversee our public affairs, and lead our communication initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in manufacturing and industrial sectors, demonstrating a successful history in crafting and executing impactful communication strategies, managing media relations, and navigating crisis communication.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulate and execute a comprehensive communications and public affairs strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives.

  • Oversee all internal and external communications, ensuring our messaging is coherent and engaging.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, actively seeking opportunities to enhance our organization's reputation and brand.
  • Compose and disseminate press releases, speeches, and various communication materials.
  • Lead crisis communication initiatives, providing timely and accurate information to the media and the public.
  • Monitor industry trends and public sentiment to identify opportunities and challenges, adjusting our communication strategy as necessary.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to design and implement effective campaigns that promote our brand and services.
  • Manage issue resolution, working closely with various stakeholders to address any concerns or complaints.
  • Provide strategic counsel to our leadership team on all communication and public affairs matters.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
years of experience in public affairs and public relations, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sectors.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing media relations and drafting press releases.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and its trends.
  • Excellent crisis management skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing brand strategies.
  • Proven track record in managing successful communication campaigns.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence various stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in issues resolution and crisis management.
