Position Overview
The Automotive Service Washer is responsible for delivering an outstanding client experience while fostering client loyalty. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing vehicles that have been sold, serviced, or are receiving complimentary wash services.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and drive vehicles safely.
- Perform exterior washes and apply dressing to wheels and tires.
- Vacuum the interior and trunk areas thoroughly.
- Ensure all glass surfaces are cleaned meticulously.
- Sanitize high-touch areas including door handles, steering wheels, center consoles, and seats.
- Maintain cleanliness and fuel levels of the loaner vehicle fleet.
- Operate the car wash equipment as required.
- Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere strictly to dealership policies regarding vehicle care and operation.
- Understand and utilize the Client Concern Resolution (CCR) process to enhance client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of eighteen years.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening including background and drug tests.
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- 1-3 months of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
