Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver engaging cooking lessons to groups of young people, incorporating academic concepts and promoting hands-on learning.
- Develop and submit bi-weekly lesson plans for approval, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with staff to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, promoting positive relationships and behavior.
- Communicate effectively with site directors and education specialists to ensure seamless program implementation.
- Participate in mandatory meetings and professional development training to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Bachelor's degree or certification in culinary arts or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in teaching or youth development, with a focus on culinary arts.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for working with young people and promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
- A competitive hourly rate of $25-$30.
