Culinary Instructor Job Description

Eataly North America is seeking a skilled Culinary Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our education and events team, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing public and private events, including cooking classes, wine tastings, and private receptions.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Italian cuisine and a strong background in cooking, event planning, and education. You will be responsible for teaching a wide variety of demonstration and hands-on classes for private and public groups, preparing and executing menu items for La Scuola, and overseeing kitchen mise-en-place and cleanliness.

Additional responsibilities include supervising staff members during events, writing and monitoring class descriptions, and compiling instructor biographies and sales contracts. You will also be responsible for purchasing or submitting requisitions for food items, kitchen supplies, and equipment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, 3+ years of experience in restaurant operations, sales management, marketing, or event planning, and excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills. Proficiency in Italian language is preferred.
