Coordinate the integration of new specialty insurance ventures, including Delegated Arrangements (MGAs) and emerging business units.

Lead, support, and facilitate the execution of specialized projects within the Specialty Insurance Segment, encompassing Compliance and Regulatory initiatives, product innovation, and more, while representing the Specialty Insurance underwriting division.

Evaluate, design, and deploy a range of strategic and tactical resources and templates to align with Specialty Insurance segment objectives.
Regularly collaborate with the Internal Audit department.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and sustain the underwriting governance frameworks.

Collaborate closely with Westfield Specialty's Office of Corporate Underwriting, Business Unit Leaders, and underwriters to implement governance standards that fortify the underwriting process.

Achieve an optimal balance between process efficiencies and compliance with relevant underwriting standards.
Establish controls to evaluate the effectiveness of the underwriting framework, report violations, and initiate necessary corrective measures.
Work in tandem with governance, legal, compliance, and risk management teams across Westfield Specialty.
Maintain composure, focus, and resilience during challenging situations, providing clarity and direction to business partners.
Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of Specialty insurance products and coverage, ideally gained through experience as an underwriter or claims adjuster.

Market Knowledge:
Familiarity with insurance, claims, and actuarial principles; specialty underwriting quality assurance; regulatory frameworks and reinsurance. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with underwriters and internal departments to foster positive and productive relationships.
Demonstrated capability to apply underwriting appetite, tools, systems, and resources to meet objectives and resolve complex challenges.
A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in specialty lines insurance. The title will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications.
Self-driven, possessing excellent organizational skills, strong analytical abilities, and a commercial mindset.
Ability to manage confidential information appropriately and excel in independent work environments.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
