Role Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all operations within the unit during assigned shifts. Collaborating with management, the CNC directs, monitors, and assesses nursing care in line with established protocols, serving as a resource for staff and embodying the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates admission and discharge processes to promote efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
  • Engages in ongoing evaluation of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Works with experts and managers to foster a collaborative environment that drives improved outcomes.
  • Embraces a patient-first philosophy and participates in service recovery initiatives.
  • Contributes to staff engagement by implementing nursing strategies and initiatives.
  • Assists in the recruitment, training, and development of new staff, ensuring compliance with policies and performance evaluations.
  • Manages staff scheduling and labor needs in accordance with patient care requirements.
  • Oversees inventory management and assists in maintaining supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
  • Education & Experience:
    • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
    • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Licensure & Certifications:
    • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Advanced certifications such as ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, PALS, NRP, and NVCI preferred
