Role Summary
The Clinical Applications Nurse Coordinator serves as a vital resource within the facility, overseeing the successful implementation of advanced clinical applications. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating project assessments and parameter settings.
- Assisting in the development of educational and training materials.
- Participating in community initiatives for clinical application support.
- Ensuring ongoing training and support for clinical applications.
- Managing upgrades and new implementations as required.
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum: Associate Degree; Preferred: BSN or MSN.
Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in Texas or a compact state is required, along with BLS certification.
Experience:
A minimum of three years of clinical experience is required, with three to five years of management experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Meditech, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse teams.
- Effective communication skills with clinical and IT personnel.
- Leadership and teaching capabilities.
- Advanced computer proficiency.
- Ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of clinical and operational processes within the facility.
