Job Overview
Graham Windham is a leading social services organization that provides educational and social services to thousands of children, young people, and parents throughout NYC. We are seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Specialist to join our team.

About the Position
This role plays a vital part in helping families build strong foundations for their children. As a Child Welfare Specialist, you will work closely with families, communities, and internal stakeholders to provide assessment, engagement, case management, and other support services. Your goal will be to ensure children have safe and stable homes, where they can thrive and succeed academically and personally.

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Creating service plans in partnership with families to address safety, behavioral, educational, and psychological needs
• Monitoring progress and safety through regular casework contacts and documentation
• Collaborating with internal and external service providers and stakeholders via clear communication
• Participating in Family Court Hearings, Family Team Conferences, and other meetings to advance permanency for children and families

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field. Bilingualism in Spanish is highly valued, as is your ability to travel within the NYC Metropolitan area. You must also be computer literate in MS Office and NYS Connections. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, and organizational abilities are essential. The ability to work with diverse populations is also crucial.

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $52,800.00 to $55,800.00 annually, plus potential performance-based merit awards.
