Role Overview: As an Inclusive Education Specialist, you will collaborate with general education teachers in a co-teaching model within an integrated classroom setting. Your primary responsibility will be to address the diverse needs of all students, ensuring that each individual receives the support necessary to thrive.

In addition to co-teaching, you will conduct small group sessions focused on literacy and mathematics for students who require additional assistance to meet grade-level expectations. At TEP, we are committed to serving a student body with varied learning profiles, including those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead instructional sessions while providing co-teaching support.
  • Specialize in specific content areas such as Math or Literacy, while also addressing the needs of students with IEPs.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your teaching practices.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of teaching experience, with at least two years in grades 4 through 9.
  • A strong alignment with TEP's mission to provide a world-class education to historically under-resourced communities.
  • A desire to make a meaningful impact in the educational landscape.
