Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, with a range between $67,000 and $89,898. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, wellness programs, paid time off, commuter benefits, and professional development opportunities. Additionally, our employees are eligible for loan forgiveness programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Instructional Leadership: Collaborate with General Education Teachers in Integrated Co-Teaching classrooms to plan and deliver high-quality instruction tailored to the needs of all learners.
- Student Support: Regularly meet with grade-level teams and support staff to ensure equitable access to the curriculum and monitor student progress.
- Family Engagement: Build strong relationships with families through consistent communication and involvement in school activities.
- Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and collaboration with colleagues to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- New York State Dual Certification in Special Education and General Education is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of successful teaching experience, ideally in an Integrated Co-Teaching setting.
- Experience in a high-performing urban educational environment is advantageous.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive educational atmosphere.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
