Position Overview

OBXtek is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Acquisition Specialist, Journeyman - Program Acquisition Support (PAS) within the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC). This position is integral to the Acquisition Support Services contract aimed at enhancing Military Communication (MilComm) and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
This role involves collaboration with Directorate leadership and providing essential support to Space Force stakeholders. The individual will be responsible for:

  • Developing and coordinating high-level briefings, reports, and special projects.
  • Responding to various data calls, document reviews, and acquisition reporting requirements.
  • Reviewing program documentation for compliance with relevant statutes and regulations.
  • Managing and tracking tasks efficiently across multiple organizational levels.
  • Preparing and reviewing memoranda, staff summaries, and program office briefings.
  • Conducting substantive analysis to support situational awareness and strategic planning.
  • Coordinating research and analysis projects with government and external agencies.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate communication of program information for public release.

Qualifications
Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a current Secret Clearance and possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Management, Business, or Engineering. A minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in high-visibility program roles is required, along with proficiency in MS Office applications and relevant DoD tools.

Preferred Qualifications
A Master’s Degree in business and APDP Level II certification are desirable.
