We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Developer to join our team at CAI. As a Data Warehouse Developer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing the organization's databases, data vault/warehouse solutions, backup, archiving, systems, and monitoring resources.

This is a full-time remote contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of T-SQL development experience, strong database and data warehouse modeling skills, and experience with Microsoft database projects (dacpac) and DevOps.

The successful candidate will be able to connect to new data sources, explore data, model in the data vault and data mart, configure and/or code data vault and data mart structures, and troubleshoot code at all levels.

We are looking for a self-starter who can quickly get up to speed and work effectively in a small team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement databases, data vault/warehouse solutions, backup, archiving, systems, and monitoring resources
  • Connect to new data sources and explore data
  • Model in the data vault and data mart
  • Configure and/or code data vault and data mart structures
  • Troubleshoot code at all levels

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of T-SQL development experience
  • Strong database and data warehouse modeling skills
  • Experience with Microsoft database projects (dacpac) and DevOps
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with advanced T-SQL such as dynamic code generation, recursion, Gaps & Islands
  • SSAS experience
  • Exposure to Data Vault
