As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality nursing care in post-acute facilities.
- Administering individualized treatments and medications.
- Developing care plans with residents and medical teams.
- Setting up medical equipment and monitoring use.
- Going over care options with residents and family members.
- Meeting with physicians and other healthcare staff.
- Drawing blood and fluid samples for lab work.
- Maintaining nursing standards and facility policies.
- Accurately documenting interventions and medical histories.
- Investigating incidents and reporting accurately.
- Training nursing staff and supervising them.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Completion of an approved nursing program.
- At least 4 months' experience in post-acute care or in-patient hospital settings.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
