Nursing Professional with Baystate Health

Baystate Health seeks a dedicated Nurse Resident to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.
About the Role
This position requires 10 months or more of clinical experience as an RN. As a Nurse Resident, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. You will also participate in unit/house-wide performance improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility, and acceptance towards all employees, patients, and visitors.
Responsibilities
* Deliver safe and effective patient care through accurate assessments, prioritization, and implementation of individualized plans of care.
* Collaborate effectively with team members to manage assignments and delegate tasks based on patient needs and skills.
* Develop comprehensive educational plans for patients/families using appropriate resources and documenting accordingly.
* Recognize acute changes in patient status and intervene appropriately.
* Adhere to practice guidelines specific to the care setting, utilizing standards, policies, and procedures to support clinical decision-making.
* Demonstrate caring practices that create a compassionate, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Nursing Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program.
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Massachusetts.
* Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
