Healthcare Professional with Autonomy

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team at CVS MinuteClinic. You will have the autonomy to run your own practice while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary and family evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
- Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Handle patient appointments, perform routine examinations, and contribute to positive patient health outcomes.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care and encourage patients to become active participants in their health and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness programs.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
- Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
- Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Epic experience preferred.
- Prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred but not required.
