Position Summary:
The Shipping and Inventory Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting our Tacoma and Alaska operations by receiving, processing, and dispatching goods. This position requires safe operation of forklifts and proficiency in utilizing System Applications and Products (SAP) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure accountability and traceability of inbound and outbound cargo through multiple enterprise resource planning systems.
2. Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments using shipping records.
3. Prepare and manifest goods for shipment utilizing multimodal methods.
4. Classify outbound cargo accurately, ensuring compliance with hazard communication standards.
5. Load and unload cargo using material handling equipment.
6. Conduct scheduled cycle-count inventory and maintain perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, and inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification immediately upon hiring.
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Hazardous Waste and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER).
- Familiarity with SAP and EAM or similar asset management systems.

Physical and Mental Demands:
This role requires regular standing, walking, and the ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The employee must also possess strong decision-making skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Compensation and Benefits:
This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate ranging from $21.00 to $22.00. Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and other wellness programs.
