Job Title: Vehicle Supply Technician

At Northwest Ambulance, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Vehicle Supply Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our ambulances are stocked with the necessary medical supplies and equipment to respond to emergencies and provide patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain the inventory of medical and emergency supplies in our fleet of ambulances.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Ambulance Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and washing ambulances, inspecting and maintaining medical equipment, and performing light maintenance tasks.
  • Supply Delivery: Deliver medical supplies and equipment to deployment stations, weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Inventory Requests: Complete inventory requests and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock.
  • Ambulance Operations: Assist operations with various tasks and errands as needed, including transporting ambulances and taking them for oil changes.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Physical Demands: The position requires full range of motion, including standing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, pulling, and pushing, lifting, and grasping, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds on occasion.
