Key Responsibilities
  • Site Engagement: Conduct on-site visits to gather data, work with customers to develop potential solutions, and oversee the installation of large industrial equipment to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Address customer reports of equipment issues, conduct thorough analyses, and implement solutions to restore equipment functionality.
  • Customer Collaboration: Maintain open communication with customers, offering timely updates and building strong relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Inspection and Quality Control: Review performance data and customer reports, inspect faulty or damaged equipment, and analyze findings to pinpoint the source of problems.
  • Team Coordination and Reporting: Work with Field Service, Engineering, and other departments to expedite service and maintain comprehensive records. Provide regular updates to the Field Service Supervisor and suggest corrective measures for recurring issues.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or at least three years of experience in a manufacturing-related field service role, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong ability to diagnose and solve technical problems, with a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of equipment functionality.
  • Communication Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clear and effective interactions with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Professional Attributes: Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment, juggle multiple tasks efficiently, and collaborate well with others.
  • Availability Requirements: Must be punctual, maintain consistent attendance, be able to work on-site, and be available for overtime when necessary.
