Job Summary

Leica Biosystems is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the needs of our customers, which directly impacts patient health and overall well-being.

This position is part of the Service Organization located in Oklahoma City, OK and will be fully remote. You will be a part of the Field Service Team and report to the Regional Field Service Manager responsible for troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide installation support, maintenance, modification and/or repair on 1-2 groups of mechanical, electromechanical, electronic and/or refrigeration instruments.
  • Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner to follow ISO, FDA, and Leica policies.
  • Actively support the sale of service contracts, assist sales representatives & service team members with system configurations/upgrades, and provide feedback on ways to improve financial performance to generate service revenue.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree with 3+ years of technical experience OR 5+ years of equivalent technical work experience or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to travel -up to 90% daily travel with frequent overnights. Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
