Key Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of local market trends to identify business development opportunities across all product lines.
- Utilize consultative selling strategies to assist the agency in acquiring new clients for insurance products.
- Engage in proactive cross-selling and collaborate with agency colleagues to extend coverage options to current clients.
- Seek new business opportunities through various channels including leads, networking events, trade shows, and personal connections.
- Achieve new business goals through personal initiative and established lead generation techniques.
- Prepare and present quotations and applications effectively to secure sales.
- Licensing Requirement: Must possess a Property and Casualty license or be willing to obtain one within the first month of employment.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a self-sourced sales role, achieving at least 40 transactions in the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously, effectively prioritize tasks, and organize workflow.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in sales and customer service.
- Proficiency in PC software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer).
- Familiarity with a variety of digital devices including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
