Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of local market trends to identify business development opportunities across all product lines.
  • Utilize consultative selling strategies to assist the agency in acquiring new clients for insurance products.
  • Engage in proactive cross-selling and collaborate with agency colleagues to extend coverage options to current clients.
  • Seek new business opportunities through various channels including leads, networking events, trade shows, and personal connections.
  • Achieve new business goals through personal initiative and established lead generation techniques.
  • Prepare and present quotations and applications effectively to secure sales.
Qualifications
  • Licensing Requirement: Must possess a Property and Casualty license or be willing to obtain one within the first month of employment.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a self-sourced sales role, achieving at least 40 transactions in the last 24 months is preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously, effectively prioritize tasks, and organize workflow.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales and customer service.
  • Proficiency in PC software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer).
  • Familiarity with a variety of digital devices including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
