About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Entegee, a leader in custom automation projects and controls solutions. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented engineer to expand their skills and become a top-performing controls specialist.

As a Mechanical Engineer at Entegee, you will be responsible for mentoring junior staff, formulating business strategies, and leading teams on advisory services and design solutions. You will work closely with clients to evaluate needs and develop detailed design solutions, collaborate with sales professionals on strategic pursuits, and contribute to the growth of our energy transition portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Mentor and manage junior and mid-level mechanical engineering staff
  • Develop business strategies and expand our energy transition portfolio
  • Engage with clients to evaluate needs and develop detailed design solutions
  • Lead a mechanical engineering team for advisory services and design solutions
  • Collaborate with Client Account Managers and sales professionals on strategic pursuits
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • At least 10 years of engineering design and/or consulting experience
  • Professional Engineering licensure (any US state)
  • Experience with business growth strategy and new project opportunities
  • Knowledge of proposal development and project execution planning
  • Availability to travel as required (typically less than 50%)
  • Availability to work at least 2 days per week in the Cary, NC office

Pay Details

The estimated salary for this role is $49.00 to $66.00 per hour. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the location and requirements of the position.
