Automation Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Specialist to join our team at E2i Inc.
Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 per year

Job Description:
E2i Inc. is looking for a skilled Automation Systems Specialist to provide support and troubleshooting for formulation areas, implement change controls for process improvements and bug fixes as needed. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment, as well as electrical hardware systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Designing, implementing, and supporting PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment
- Designing, implementing, and supporting electrical hardware systems
- Investigating and solving complex problems to ensure optimal system performance
- Demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with clients, peers, and supervisors
- Addressing on-call requests as needed to ensure continuous system operation
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in process control and automation
- 3-5 years of experience in programming/developing/configuring PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software for control systems (experience with Rockwell, FactoryTalk View SE/ME; iFix, DeltaV, PlantPAx, PCS7, Siemens, or Wonderware is a plus)
- Ability to support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
