About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. As an Automation Engineer at Verista, you will be responsible for designing and implementing key automation aspects of equipment projects, including PLC, vision, and HMI programming. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automation systems, including PLC, vision, and HMI programming.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs.
  • Independently understand client quality standards, cGMPs, and regulatory standards to support team compliance efforts.
  • Author technical commissioning, qualification, and validation documentation for standard equipment/systems/software and processes.
  • Lead and perform complex quality checks that require an intricate understanding of machine control systems and operations.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 2-4 years of experience as an Automation Engineer.
  • GMP and Good Documentation Practice knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of IT/IT-centric systems, domain authentication, and SQL databases.
  • Ability to read logic and perform programming, as well as update control system documentation.
