Senior Building Automation Systems Engineer

James Babcock Inc. is a reputable electrical contractor with over six decades of experience serving commercial clients in Indiana.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Building Automation Systems Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing, retrofitting, and servicing building automation systems for commercial customers.
This role offers training opportunities in various building automation systems, enabling the successful candidate to grow professionally.
The salary range for this position is $50,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a project incentive bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install new and retrofit building automation control systems.
- Provide service and troubleshooting for existing systems.
- Participate in in-house training and factory training programs to enhance skills.
- Maximize lead opportunities and adhere to company goals.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while observing company safety measures.
Requirements:
- Pass background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
- At least three years of experience in control automation.
- Familiarity with HVAC control theory and concepts.
- Experience with DDC controls and communication protocols (LonWorks, BacNet, Modbus).
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with communication trunks, device wiring, and installation.
- Knowledge of equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
