The Client Service Coordinator plays a vital role in driving the flow of clients and pets through our hospital, maximizing the productivity of our veterinary medical team, and ensuring exceptional client care. This position is responsible for promoting hospital services, routing clients and pets to ensure superior care, and coordinating the care of clients and pets in a welcoming and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Maximize the number of pets seen by our hospital team through efficient hospital operations.
- Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times, including welcoming clients and pets, ensuring their comfort, and educating them about their pet's health.
- Educate clients about our wellness plans, preventative care, pet health needs, and hospital services.
- Assist incoming clients by completing required documentation, entering pet information and history in our system, and ensuring prompt service.
- Assist outgoing clients by providing necessary instructions, information, and invoices, dispensing prescription items, selling retail products, and scheduling future appointments.
- Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and utilizing proper opening and closing procedures.
- Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
Requirements
This position requires a strong focus on customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Weekend hours are required, as our hospital is open Monday through Saturday, 7am to 6pm, and Sunday, 9am to 5pm.
