Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Server to join our Food and Beverage Team at Black Point Inn. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests, ensuring that every visit is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet guests warmly and professionally, taking the time to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Order Taking and Delivery: Accurately take orders, understand menu items and food preparation techniques, and deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and present customer bills, process payments, and make change as needed.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with Restaurant Management, Kitchen Staff, and Food and Beverage personnel to ensure seamless service and exceed guest expectations.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States of America.
  • Previous Experience: Previous food and beverage service work preferred, but not always required.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate in English, both orally and written, with guests and employees.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work as part of a team, adapt to changing situations, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to frequently walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, lift, and perform manual dexterity tasks.
Working Conditions

The Server will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent interactions with guests and colleagues. The ability to work under pressure, handle stressful situations, and maintain a professional demeanor is essential.
