Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Vault Teller to join our team at American Pride Bank. As a Vault Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining the security and integrity of our vault.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer transactions, including accepting deposits, verifying cash, and issuing receipts.
  • Cash checks and follow established policies and procedures.
  • Balance and maintain the ATM and Coin Machine, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
  • Follow established dual control procedures, including opening and closing the branch.
  • Collect, log, and process night drop bags according to Bank procedures.
  • Process change orders, loan payments, and credit card advances.
  • Issue official checks and redeem U.S. Savings Bonds.
  • Quote products and rates to promote and inform customers of Bank services and products.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide account balances.
  • Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift and ensure all differences are properly initialed and reported.
  • Answer phone calls and assist callers, transferring them to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and confidential work environment, ensuring the security and integrity of customer records and transactions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of banking experience, preferably in a cash handling role.
  • Experience with Jack Henry Products is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
