Radiology Technologist-Fairfield

As a Radiology Technologist at Yale New Haven Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team in Fairfield.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas, adhering to department protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Review all necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Participate in the training and development of staff and radiology students, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Demonstrate basic leadership skills and professional growth, contributing to an effective quality management and quality control program for assigned areas.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, with a graduate degree from a qualified Radiology Program.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in basic radiology, with ARRT certification and CT licensure.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear.
Frequently required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and smell.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Additional Information:
20 hours per week, combination of days Monday-Friday.
Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on patient-centered care and quality improvement.
