Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.
  • Review all necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures.
  • Participate in the training and development of staff and radiology students.
  • Accurately enter all applicable information into the computer system and charges for procedures.
  • Plan and/or implement care for assigned patients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate from a qualified Radiology Program.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience preferred.
  • State of CT Licensure.
  • ARRT (R) Current CPR certification.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear. The employee may frequently be required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and smell. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

This is a 20 hour per week position, with a combination of days Monday-Friday. ARRT Certified. CT license. Minimum 1 year experience in basic radiology. Ability to work in fast paced environment. Ortho knowledge preferred. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
