Job Summary:

Community Memorial Health is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Gastroenterology team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary and specialty care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in gastroenterology to provide evidence-based care

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • 2 years of experience in gastroenterology or a related field
  • Knowledge of biologics, chronic diseases, ulcers, and Hepatitis C
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
