Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Supply Chain Technician II to become a vital member of our organization. This role is essential in executing key Supply Chain operations and requires proficiency in Supply Chain Technician I tasks. The primary responsibilities include maintaining supply closets (PARs) and procuring supplies for various clinical departments. The successful candidate will utilize the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to accurately order supplies, generate labels, manage PARs, restock specialty carts, and address urgent supply requests.

Work Schedule: Part-Time - Thursday and Friday - 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Location: Onsite in Des Moines, Iowa

Vaccination Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Ordering and PAR Management:

· Ensure accurate and timely counts of PARs.

· Generate precise reports and document any discrepancies in supply usage.

· Identify and implement efficiencies in PAR management, including adjustments in quantities and organization.

· Record supply requests and communicate effectively with Inventory Control and Management.

Specialty Supply Management:

· Replenish crash carts and other specialty carts as maintained by the supply chain.

· Conduct inspections and manage carts appropriately.

· Prioritize cart management and communicate any issues promptly.

Equipment Management:

· Adhere to departmental processes for issuing and delivering equipment.

· Monitor equipment PARs effectively.

· Properly label and process equipment requiring repair.

Inventory Oversight:

· Receive and organize inventory efficiently.

· Accurately document items returned to inventory.

· Utilize system resources to locate products within PARs.

· Notify Inventory Control and Management of any Out Of Stock (OOS) items.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare or inventory management is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

A valid driver's license is required for driving any vehicle for work-related purposes.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong customer and patient-focused communication skills, teamwork, task-oriented mindset, and attention to detail are essential.
