As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations of the sales floor, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Daily Operations: Develop and execute retail operations plans to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
  • Monitor Product Levels: Ensure product levels (floor work, as-is, recycle, trash, seasonal back stock) are managed to achieve bottom line sales budget against targets.
  • Manage Payroll and Operating Costs: Ensure payroll costs and operating costs are managed to budget.
  • Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Ensure Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
  • De-escalate Customer Situations: Work to de-escalate customer situations while finding an appropriate solution.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure store locations are clean, well-kept, and reflect the Goodwill brand appropriately.
  • Partner with Community Businesses: Partner with community businesses and organizations to promote Goodwill mission.
  • Lead High-Performing Team: Build a high-performing team and responsible for performance management, staffing, compensation, and development of Team Members.
  • Drive Business Growth: Play a critical role in driving company culture change efforts and change management processes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Retail Management Experience: One-year work experience in Retail Management required.
  • Customer Service Experience: One-year customer service experience required.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
