Forrester Behavioral Health Homes is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Para Professional to join our team. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include providing individualized support, teaching life skills, and promoting a safe and healthy living environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to residents, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as medication management, meal preparation, and personal care.
  • Monitor and document resident progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for success.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual - Understands Spanish and speaks it (preferred but not required).
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be identified as a prospective BHPP candidate by a Behavioral Health Professional.
  • Must be able to successfully complete assessments under the supervision of a BHP.
  • Must be able to remain awake at all times.
  • Must have the ability to learn and use Google Workspace.
  • Must have First Aid and CPR certification, Fingerprint Clearance Card, and a current negative TB test.
