Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Support Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the pharmacy operations, including picking, packing, and shipping prescriptions to retail pharmacies and end-customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking, Packing, and Shipping: Pick, pack, and ship prescriptions to retail pharmacies and end-customers in a fast-paced semi-automated production environment.
  • Accuracy and Efficiency: Fill, pack, and ship prescriptions with 100% accuracy and efficiency using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and McKesson-supported hardware and software.
  • Inventory Management: Examine stock and distribute materials in inventory, ensuring accurate and reliable shelf labels for merchandise locations.
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping: Perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks, including proper storage of goods and ensuring correct reliable shelf labels for merchandise locations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1+ years of related experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, quality-focused, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical Demands: Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line. Able to consistently carry 20-30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor.
  • Work Schedule: Part-time, 25-28 hours per week, with mandatory Fridays and Sundays.
