About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ambulatory Practice Director to join our team at Children's Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing operational direction and oversight to our ambulatory practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional service to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operations of assigned service lines, ensuring compliance with standards of clinical care and maintaining accountability for quality, safety, service, and operational excellence.
  • Provide leadership for initiating and monitoring change across the service line, working closely with Children's leadership, medical directors, physician providers, and other clinical staff.
  • Review, analyze, and collaboratively resolve operational issues, including medical staff and patient family concerns.
  • Develop and support processes designed to engage all staff in the pursuit of operational and service excellence, regularly reviewing patient satisfaction data and analyzing for opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze all performance improvement and quality data, researching best practices across ambulatory services and other organizations to continually improve the patient/family experience.
Requirements
  • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • At least 2 years of related experience required, with at least 5 years preferred.
  • Current RN license in the State of Texas required, with Psychiatry license preferred.
