We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide assistance in Engine Sustainment and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In this dynamic, team-focused setting, the Technical Support Engineer will deliver planning and technical assistance on engine upkeep, systems diagnostics, and the maintenance of support apparatus, materials, and processes.
  • Engage with propulsion systems, aircraft, and engine testing facilities.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams and technicians, as well as military personnel, to troubleshoot technical and logistical challenges related to propulsion system operation and maintenance.
  • Utilize initiative and analytical skills to identify issues, conduct investigations to determine root causes, and coordinate solutions with management and engineering teams.
  • Work alongside other on-site personnel to meet program objectives, safety standards, employee satisfaction, and quality benchmarks.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including first and second shifts on a rotational basis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline is mandatory. Non-technical degrees may be considered if the candidate possesses a technical background in a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in turbo-machinery propulsion systems, engine assembly planning, flight testing, or aircraft maintenance is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint for at least 3 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required.
  • U.S. citizenship is necessary for security clearance eligibility.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including first and second shifts on a rotational basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven problem-solving abilities with a knack for developing innovative solutions to everyday challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in military engine maintenance and/or flight operations is highly desirable.
