Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients, including assessing, planning, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating their progress.
  • Administer medications, observe patients' health, and conduct phone triage as needed.
  • Document patient care activities, medical records, and authorization forms accurately and efficiently.
  • Implement pain management assessments and documentation, and recognize changes in patients' status to report to Charge Nurses or Physicians.
  • Participate in departmental orientation of new employees, share knowledge, and provide guidance when assigned.
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date documentation and files at all times.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • One (1) year clinical experience preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent walking, sitting, and standing. You will be stooping, pushing, and pulling when moving patients into position for treatment, and reaching, handling, feeling, and manipulating equipment into position.

The majority of the time, you will spend indoors in air-conditioned areas. You may be exposed to blood and blood-borne pathogens, and will be required to use personal protective equipment.
