Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and contribute to various projects across all stages of the project lifecycle, including Requirements Specification, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Rollout, and Postproduction Evaluations.
  • Requirements Specification: Comprehend, draft, review, and refine comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Feed Specification Documents to align with enhancement or feed onboarding needs.
  • Serve as a bridge between Technology and Business Stakeholders, possessing a solid understanding of relational databases and experience in handling extensive datasets.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Design and implement UAT test plans to verify that business requirements are fulfilled, including the creation of test scripts with specific test cases and anticipated outcomes.
  • UAT Sign-off: Collaborate with users across various levels within the Business to guide them through the UAT process and secure approval during the UAT phase.
  • Rollout and Postproduction Evaluations: Act as the primary contact for Technology partners, contributing to project rollout and ensuring thorough postproduction evaluations for successful project completion.
  • Documentation: Generate and update essential documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), mapping specifications, user stories, extraction criteria, and RAID Logs.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in ALPS reporting and workflow platforms to provide training and support to end users.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement enhancements in systems and processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Utilize standard processes, design, and testing tools throughout the project development lifecycle.
  • Engage with Operations, IT, Internal Audit, and Line Control at a senior level as a representative.
  • Exhibit exceptional presentation and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail to facilitate informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a business analyst or in Investment Banking Operations or IT, with a background in operational risk and control being advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to deliver program objectives and provide status updates.
  • Familiarity with Capital Markets Operations is a plus.
  • Comfortable analyzing data from various disparate source systems and extensive datasets.
  • Ability to facilitate global discussions and manage diverse stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
  • Proven track record of building consensus and working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Adaptability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
  • Capable of monitoring tight deadlines and unexpected requirement changes.
  • Ability to multitask and take ownership of projects and change initiatives.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of Logical, Data, and Text functions for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Proficient in using Word and PowerPoint to create concise project documentation and presentations for senior management.
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing and experience with MicroStrategy is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with JIRA.
  • Knowledge of QlikView Business Intelligence or Tableau is a plus.
  • Project Management experience with direct involvement in all phases of the project lifecycle (SCRUM, Six Sigma knowledge is very applicable).
  • SQL experience is a plus.
